Uniq Smedleys Salads announced it was going green in April 2007 with its first major launch in ten years.

Its Organic Coleslaw and Organic Potato Salad are made from ingredients certified by the Soil Association, supplied in 250g recyclable pots with a fully sustainable self adhesive label. Mike Hogg, Commercial Director of Smedleys “BioTAK labels were chosen by Smedleys as they meet the environmental credentials we were looking for from our suppliers. Smedleys are working closer than ever with each part of our supply chain to achieve our product goals which is ‘from field to fork, greener salads for a sustainable future’.
